About Me

My name is Archeta (Archie or Archu - I have many nicknames) Rajagopalan. I graduated from Yale University in 2019, and attend medical school at the Keck School of Medicine at USC in Los Angeles. Previously, I lived in NYC and worked at a health clinic. We worked through much of the pandemic, only closing for 1.5 months in March and April when the pandemic first peaked in the city. It was really interesting living through the phases of reopening and restrictions. This blog focuses on COVID happenings given how much it affected our daily lives and our medical practice. I often was one of the people sharing COVID related news to friends and family, so I wanted to create this page to breakdown the news and scientific information and make it more accessible and understandable to everyone. Hope you all enjoy reading :)

Why this newsletter?

News sources publish plenty of articles on COVID happenings. I don’t mean to replicate that, but I hope to synthesize important info into one place, and also give my own thoughts and ideas on what I read, based on my own background.
